How the solar torch works: During the day, the top of the solar panel converts sunlight into electricity and recharges the battery. At night, the light will automatically turn on using the electricity stored (you can also cover the solar panel with your hand to enable night mode). At dawn, the light will automatically turn off and enter charging mode. You may choose to turn unit off when you don't want the light to turn on automatically every night by pressing the power button.
