Basil and lemon, who would have thought? Especially together. This is a favorite, the taste is refreshing to the palette. Great as a dip for fruits such as strawberries, bananas, etc. Wonderful on bagels & pastries, but an all-time favorite is Zesty Lemon Basil Cheesecake (recipe below). For the dip itself, mix package with 1 cup heavy whipping cream or 8 oz cream cheese and enjoy! Two Sisters At Home products have no preservatives or MSG. Lemon Basil Cheese Cake served with whipping cream and fresh sliced strawberries:
Use a graham cracker crust, mix 12 oz. of cream cheese with 8 oz. of cool whip (or 1 1/2 cup of whipping cream, whipped to a peak, add 1 pkg of lemon basil. Mix until smooth and spoon into crust let set over night. Absolutely delish
1 lemon pound cake
1 Two Sisters At Home Zesty Lemon Basil mix
1 qt Heavy Whipping Cream
1 8 oz. Cream Cheese
1 lb. Strawberries
1 lb. Blueberries
Mix: 2 C Heavy Whipping Cream until peak add
Softened 8oz cream cheese together and add
Lemon Basil mix. Cool over night
Preparation:
Take the edges off of the lemon pound cake, cut into cubes. Place in bottom of truffle dish some of the lemon pound cake. Spoon over the cubes a layer of the Lemon Basil mixture, add sliced strawberries, A layer of lemon pound cake cubes, add Lemon Basil mixture, cover with blueberries. Cool 3+ hrs and serve
