This Milestone Soup represents Motown Soup's first One Million Dollar effort to combat hunger and homelessness in Michigan.  Thank you to all volunteers and supporters of Motown Soup!

Preparation instructions:

Whisk contents of spice packet in 8 cups of water.  Add remaining ingredients.  Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.  Sprinkle with grated or shredded parmesan cheese.  Add salt to taste.

Suggestion:  Serve with warm Motown Soup's Garlic Beer Bread!
